The wonderfully hospitable Booka Bookshop & Café in Oswestry was treated to a special event, with two Next Generation Poets reading for thirty minutes each, to a large community audience on 10 February 2015.

Hannah Lowe read from her Next Generation Poets selected book, Chick, and a number of poems from her latest pamphlet, Ormonde, published by Hercules Editions. Ormonde brings to life the stories on board the ship that carried her father to the UK from Jamaica.
Emma Jones
Emma Jones gave a captivating performance from her 2007 collection, The Striped World.
Oswestry was a fantastic town for readings, welcoming the great and the good of literature, including Next Generation Poet 2004, Sophie Hannah, and, from Richard & Judy, Judy.
