In a bustling and lively atmosphere in Keats House in Hampstead, young London poet, Alex MacDonald opened the show with wonderfully atmospheric poems set in the local area and Berlin.

Following Alex was the wonderful Jane Yeh, whose poems about Ninjas and acting owls delighted the large audience.

Next Generation Poet 2014, Daljit Nagra, was up after the interval in a home-away-from-home as the current Keats House Poet-in-Residence. Daljit treated us to a number of poems from his Ramayana and poems on food and phalluses from his previous collections.

We were particularly honoured to have recent T S Eliot Prize nominee and wonderful London and Paris-based poet, Pascale Petit, reading in the headline slot. Delighting us with a range of poems from her most recent collection, Fauverie, the 2004 Next Generation Poet proved she is still writing at the very top of her game.
